Meet Dana…
“You have the power to create great changes for yourself”

Hello! I am Dana McQuade, a Registered Provisional Psychologist.
I believe therapy is a process that should be offered through gentleness and compassion. I work hard to assist clients to discover healing through self-reflection and creating a sense of identity by making meaning of their experiences. I believe these are what allows people to create new skills to positively interact with the world around them.
I offer a gentle approach to therapy with an understanding that not all therapies work for all clients. I draw from an integrative style that includes modalities such as CBT (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy), Attachment Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy.
I have experience working with diverse clients from ages 8 and up, including individuals, couples, and families and specialize in working with those who have experienced developmental traumas such as physical, emotional and sexual abuse. I have 25 years of experience in pastoral counselling and 4 years in the clinical therapeutic domain.
If you are struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, low self-esteem, difficult relationships, complex PTSD, personality disorders, ADD/ADHD, grief/loss, DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder), disordered eating, Asperger’s/Autism, or addictions, I can help.
