Dana McQuade - Provisional Psychologist
Meet Dana…
“You have the power to create great changes for yourself”

Hello! I am Dana McQuade, a Registered Provisional Psychologist.
I believe therapy is a process that should be offered through gentleness and compassion. I work hard to assist clients to discover healing through self-reflection and creating a sense of identity by making meaning of their experiences. I believe these are what allows people to create new skills to positively interact with the world around them.
I offer a gentle approach to therapy with an understanding that not all therapies work for all clients. I draw from an integrative style that includes modalities such as CBT (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy), Attachment Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy.
I have experience working with diverse clients from ages 12 and up, including individuals, couples, and families and specialize in working with those who have experienced developmental traumas such as physical, emotional and sexual abuse. I have 25 years of experience in pastoral counselling and 4 years in the clinical therapeutic domain.
If you are struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, low self-esteem, difficult relationships, complex PTSD, personality disorders, ADD/ADHD, grief/loss, DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder), disordered eating, Asperger’s/Autism, or addictions, I can help.
